DLI 2:  Annual School Census: Strengthening the ASC system to yield regular and reliable data on basic government school system indicators. i)A third party has administered the ASC for academic year 2014/15 in eight (8) districts, in accordance with a design and an administration plan, acceptable to the association. ToR’s have been drafted and shared with World Bank, will be placed before Secretary for approval The firm will be hired for online data collection & data entry. Questionnaires have been finalized.

(ii)      The ASC for the remainder of districts administered by ED/RSU in accordance with agreed design and administration plan; -Questionnaires have been finalized and shared with procurement section for printing. -Online form has been prepared for online data collection & data entry. -Workshop plan has been developed for data collection
  • Support is requested during data collection in remaining districts at administrative level through DO-SEMIS to Head Master.
  • A district has to direct HM for online data entry.
  • Technically facilitation for districts offices.
  • Transfer & posting of teachers and other official during the activity of ASC 2014-15
(iii) At least 50% of Sindh’s secondary and higher secondary schools report ASC data through a web-based direct reporting IT platform. -Online data collection form / application is under development, in the office of Secretary Education.
  • Facilitation is required i.e. logistics for workshop, provision of equipment & support in Online data entry.
  • Technically facilitation for districts offices.
  • Transfer & posting of teachers and other official during the activity of ASC 2014-15
